Description
A sailor in a thick polo neck opens the hatch to a passing gull, a nod to the polo necks supplied to the Royal Navy in 1941 to keep submariners warm.
A hand-pressed print of an original hand-drawn illustration, designed by hand just like the garments we supply.
This is an original hand-pressed print by Nathan Yoder, the illustrator we commissioned to draw our Blue Mogganer collector tags. It is the image behind our Submariner polo neck.
Each print is pressed by hand on a traditional press in a small, numbered limited edition of 100, then titled, numbered and signed in pencil by Nathan. Because every one is pressed by hand, no two are ever quite the same. Each one comes with a certificate of authenticity. Once the edition has gone, it has gone for good.

Shipping overseas
- USA: no import duty or tariffs. Original hand-pressed prints are exempt from US import duty and the current tariffs, although your carrier may charge a small handling fee.
- EU: no customs duty on original prints. Your country's import VAT, often at a reduced rate for art, and any carrier handling fee may be due on delivery.
- Rest of the world: original prints are duty-free in most countries, but local sales tax or VAT and carrier fees may apply.

Our knitwear can be dry cleaned, which is ultimately what we recommend.
If you prefer to wash at home, please hand wash only in cool to hand-warm water in a wool friendly detergent such as Woolite or Stergene (in the measurements specified on the bottle).
Dry flat and gently reshape whilst still damp.
Please note wool does not need to be washed as much, because it naturally resists odour, moisture and bacteria.

- Never machine wash
- Never hand wash in hot water
- Never wash in biological or non-wool detergent
