Our Islander is a Fairisle cardigan  with a round neck and a subtle multi-coloured aran nep interwoven throughout the knit. A beauitfully rustic symmetrical yoke, makes this one of our most popular garments.

Our knitwear can be dry cleaned, which is ultimately what we recommend.

If you prefer to wash at home, please hand wash only in cool to hand-warm water in a wool friendly detergent such as Woolite or Stergene (in the measurements specified on the bottle).

Dry flat and gently reshape whilst still damp.

Please note wool does not need to be washed as much, because it naturally resists odour, moisture and bacteria.

High Quality Warm Cardigan

This lovely winter weight cardigan is beautifully made with very well thought-out colours, uplifting in dull weather. Though made with what is called a rustic yarn, I find it soft and comfortable to wear - it feels like a hug, too. I bought a size up to accommodate layering and think that it's true to size - in my case, roomy, as I wanted. Whoever made this seamless garment, thank you for your exceptional skill; even the button bands lined with matching grosgrain ribbon are very well done. I'm sure that I'll be wearing this for years and years, and am delighted that it's made in Scotland.
