100% Glenugie Nep (Formerly known as Soft Donegal) Lambswool Fairisle Yoke

Shieling is inspired by Scottish Hebridean heritage, particularly the 18th-century shielings on the Isle of Jura, from Thomas Pennant’s 1776 ‘Voyage to the Hebrides’. The round landscaping and consecutive placement of these beautiful old constructions inspired the circular pattern placement on this yoke. This garment has an elegantly slouchy feel with a slightly rolled hem at the neck and sleeves. It also benefits from a beautifully tactile feel in Glenugie Nep with the body knitted in moss stitch and a quaint purl around the yoke patterning, hem and cuffs.
